Raja Ampat, meaning "Four Kings," is an archipelago off the northwest tip of Bird's Head Peninsula, Southwest Papua province, Indonesia. It comprises over 1,500 small islands, cays, and shoals surrounding the four main islands of Misool, Salawati, Batanta, and Waigeo. It's renowned as the global epicenter of tropical marine biodiversity and is part of the Coral Triangle.
